Three days in Puebla, Mexico
Day 1 - Explore Callejon de los Sapos (the alley of the frogs), walk around the historical buildings and shop for antiques as well as artisan goods. There's pleanty of places to eat and have a drink in this area.
In the afternoon, take a walk to the Parian Craft Market. This market first opened in 1716. There you will find artisanal handmade goods and lots of handmade Talavera pottery.
In the evening, head to the city town center the Zocalo district and explore churches and Calle de los Dulces (Street Candy). There you will find a variety of artisan made candy and cookies.
For dinner have a bite to eat at El Comal - a super casual place with beautiful decor overlooking the historical church in the center. They are know for their cemitas bread and it comes with your choice of meat.

Day 2 - Day trip to Cholula.
Take a day trip to Cholula which is 30 min away from city town center. We took an Uber there for $6 USA dollars (If you pay for the tour is around $85 a person). He dropped us off in the center and then we walked to the famous church buitl on top of a pyramid. We spent the day walking and shopping. We had lunch at La Casa de Frida which I highly recommend. Day 3 - Visit Fuertes de Loredo y Guadalupe. Have you heard of 5 de Mayo? Visit where they fought off the French a the Fort of Guadalupe. Walk the fort and learn about the history that took place. The whole area is actually a museum district, so you can visit different museums as well as enjoy the beautiful park overlooking the city.
